This is Not an Endorsement

This is funny, but I am not necessarily promoting it. Feel free to share...

Return of the Posts

I’m back in law school now. I’ve almost completed a week. So far, I like the schedule better than last semester. The only sucky part is I am still going to hand therapy.
The tip of my finger is still not moving. My therapist is confident it will start moving soon. She’s talking about medication to loosen the scar tissue.

My break was great. I didn’t do much except watch 24 and Buffy, shop, and sleep. That was a welcome break. I was ready to get back to school. That was the first time I ever felt like that.

I’m really glad, though, I decided to come home on the 5th of January. I was home to watch my alma mater win the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Here, I would like to state that before the season started, all the football coaches and schools in the nation decided the BCS would determine the national champion. The entire season, our coach was very humble about not being in the running for the crystal football. Even when OU lost, he didn’t say we deserved to be in the championship or anyone else did. He’s always deferred to the system. Bottom line: Stop whining USC.

I managed to get home Monday night. The next morning, they closed the airport due to a massive snow storm. BF came over Monday night to visit me, but we were snowed in for three days. My car was able to move about, but his truck was in a pit of snow that prevented him from being able to move out of the three inches of snow.

After the snow storm, things were a little rocky between me and BF, but we’ve gotten through that and are now talking about taking a trip to Seattle later in the semester. Tuesday, the two of us went to a pod social and had a good time. He learned we can break free from our “nerd” stereotype.

Things are great, school is going well, and my alma mater is the NATIONAL CHAMPION!!!
