I Hate Kara Saun

So I'm watching the series finale of Project Runway. I just have to say that I really hate Kara Saun. She's so f-ing righteous. I knew people like her in college, and they were just as annoying. They can say everything they want about what's wrong with you, but the minute you try to tell them about themselves, they say the don't want to hear it and tell you that they've had enough of the conversation.

I love people who have enough as soon as they've said their piece.

I think it's great that Kara Saun is looking exactly like what she claims Wendy to be. At least Wendy was dealing with the people, not the fashion.

And I didn't even think her line was that awesome.

The To-Do List

I've been living by my to-do list lately. There are about three things that get moved over each day. Then I keep adding things to it. I hate living like this, but I find it imperative to actually get things done.

Today, as I was getting ready, I had two items pop into my head. As I sat down to write them down, I only remembered one. That drives me crazy because obviously the other thing was important if I wanted to write it down.

I've tried to recreate the moment, but it's not happening. The only thing I can think it is is buying a plunger, but that doesn't ring a bell for me.

Ugh!

Oh Yeah

And there was a birthday today...

To the only person to get birthday shout outs on my blog...

Happy Birthday, Baton Rouge!

Wireless

So this is me, online, at my apartment.

One thing to say about that: It's about damn time. I'm having trouble getting my broadband phone to work with it. I'll deal with that tomorrow.

Right now, I'm just happy to be back online. Expect more post from now on.

PS I heard through the grapevine that there is a new reader out there. To you, I say "Howdy!"

Tuesdays Are Like My Mondays

This morning, I watched some television before going to class. What I watched was a travel channel special on Rome. What sucked was turning off the program about Rome to go to Wills and Trusts.

Today I have four classes. It's a long day. I have tons of homework and tons of reading. After that, my week gets better. I dread Tuesdays. That's the beginning of my week. It's also the end in a certain way.

I'd give anything to be in Rome right now.

My Lenten Sacrifice

To fall in line with the culture I grew up in, I am giving up something for Lent.

This year, I'm aiming high: desserts.

Also, I'm going to exercise. I know I used exercise for New Years, but the move interrupted my exercising. It's all reset now.

Today is Ash Wednesday. I must remember not to eat meat. And I need to start classifying what are desserts. I don't think I'll count fruit. But cake definitely counts.

Exercising needs to be three days a week.

There, I hope this satisfies Catholic requirements...
