You Must See This

Watch Before Sunset.

If you haven't seen Before Sunrise yet, then go out and rent both of them.

I don't know what else to say.

I Am Weak Minded and Should Be Shot

I went to drop off my digital camera this morning so I could maybe have it back before the Vegas trip in January. Then I went to Crate and Barrel and bought 12 bucks worth of stuff (including a little Christmas tree to celebrate the season). Then I got my car washed. Then I went to Blockbuster.

I went in with the intention of renting one or two movies. I ended up with four in my hand. I tried to figure some way to decide between the four. I knew I wanted one of them, but then I couldn't decide on the others. I asked the guy behind the counter and he had only seen one. He suggested that I just rent them all. I explained the peril of doing so with 3 finals coming up that would determine my entire grade, but his logic worked on me. It's Thanksgiving holiday. I can study later... Right?

The World's Coolest Paper Airplane

While at clinic today, I was holding a piece of paper. As I was talking to one of my co-interns, I aimlessly folded it into a paper airplane. It was a legal sheet of paper and led to a different kind of look and fold.

I started throwing it about the office (which is totally, obviously OK because it was the day before Thanksgiving holiday and they insisted on making us come in). I was so proud of my plane because it glided so well. In fact, another co-intern was able to make it go from one end of the hall to the other.

I bragged a bit more about my plane, making people come into the hall to see it glide. And when it didn't hit a wall, they were quite impressed.

Finally, a third co-intern bet me that I couldn't get my airplane onto the roof of the building across the street. Not to be insulted or questioned, I took him up on his offer. We went into one of the two offices with windows that opened. I flung open the window and made sure that the greatest violation I would face would be littering (that is, unless the point of the plane took out someone's eye).

I threw the plane. It looked like it was a dud. It fell for about halfway across the street. Then it started to climb. It crossed two sidewalks and three lanes of traffic to land a quarter of the way onto the roof across the street!

We cheered and gave each other high fives. We then called people into the office to witness the coolness of the paper airplane. Everyone who saw the plane sitting on the roof across the street was awe-struck. We laughed for a bit and found out that one of the other interns watched the plane make it's historic journey.

My paper airplane is mine no longer, but I am fine with parting with it because I was able to prove its greatness.

Virgin Mary Grilled Cheese

Isn't this too much? I can't believe that people would pay this much. Yesterday, I saw it was all the way up to 69,000, but today it isn't even 20,000. I'm not really sure what happened.

All I know is that I can't believe that people would pay this much! It's grilled cheese people. It's really hard to see this picture. The only reason I saw anything was because I was told to look for it. I wonder how many people I've eaten...

What if I've eaten Einstein or Gandhi or someone really worthy? Crap. I might need to start looking at my grilled cheese sandwich better!

I WANT THIS!!!

I said this morning when I woke up that I was going to start a DVD buying freeze. Then I find THIS! I must be strong! I want Strongbad!

:(

Enough

... And I'm not talking about the really bad Jennifer Lopez movie
Aside: Why is it that when J-Lo started making CDs, she stopped making decent movies? I mean what is her problem? I know she wasn't making wonderful movies, but that Out of Sight movie with George Clooney was really good.
Ok, now I'm tired of being underestimated. I am busy. I make time to do stuff. Even stuff my parents strangely find the need for me to do instead of them. Especially stuff that would be easier for them to do. But I do it. I've stopped expecting people to understand how busy I am. I just ask for a little respect. If I can do it, why can't everyone else?
